Got to thinking about the haunted hotel thing and decided I might need to change my statement about not staying in any haunted hotels. I worked in the hotel industry for eight years and spent 2 years traveling for one company as a trainer. The only experiences I personnally had were strange noises and never thought of anything being super natural about them. I heard a lot of stories though. One hotel in Bettendorf, Iowa had a couple of strange stories. The lobby was scheduled to be completely gutted for remodeling. The bookkeeper took a poloroid picture (self developing) of the lobby prior to it being gutted while it was completely empty of people. When the picture developed there was a man standing in what was suppose to be an empty lobby. He was wearing an old fashion uniform and you could see through him (I've seen the picture). A night auditor at the same hotel told me about a night when a female guest came to the desk in the middle of the night in her night gown and with everything in her arms and asked for a differant room. She had turned down the sheet and blanket one side of the bed, got into the bed and turned off the light. She felt someone get into the other side of the bed, jumped up and turned the light on. The sheet and blanket had been turned down on the other side of the bed also but there was no one else in the room.
